Module-1: Introduction – Cybersecurity Fundamentals
- Core principles of IT and network security (CIA triad, defense-in-depth, threat modeling).
- Understanding attack surfaces, vulnerabilities, and exploits.
- Password cracking techniques: brute-force, dictionary, and rainbow tables.
- Introduction to ethical hacking methodology and legal/compliance aspects.
Module-2: Network Penetration Testing
- Reconnaissance and scanning with tools such as Nmap and Wireshark.
- Exploiting local and wireless networks, including Wi-Fi security testing (WEP/WPA/WPA2/WPA3).
- Privilege escalation in Windows and Linux environments.
- Exploitation of common misconfigurations and weak protocols.
- Post-exploitation techniques and lateral movement within networks.
Module-3: Web Application Penetration Testing
Understanding the OWASP Top 10 vulnerabilities (SQLi, XSS, CSRF, IDOR, RCE).
Authentication and session management attacks.
Exploiting misconfigured APIs and insecure cookies.

Secure coding and defense-in-depth strategies for developers
Module-4: Mobile Application Penetration Testing
Security model of Android and iOS applications.
Reverse engineering of APKs and IPA files.
Testing for insecure data storage, weak authentication, and API vulnerabilities.
Using tools like MobSF, Drozer, and Frida for mobile assessments.
Practical lab sessions on mobile app exploitation.
Module-5: Active Directory Penetration Testing
Enumeration of Active Directory environments and domain trusts.
Exploiting Kerberos attacks (Kerberoasting, Pass-the-Ticket, Silver/Golden Ticket).
Privilege escalation in Windows domain environments.
Password spraying, NTLM relay, and LDAP exploitation.
Social engineering strategies integrated into red team simulations.
Module-6: Pentest Reporting - CTF
Best practices in penetration test documentation and reporting.
Writing executive summaries for management and technical details for IT teams.
Delivering remediation strategies and presenting findings to stakeholders.
Final Capture-the-Flag (CTF) challenge – simulating a full penetration test from reconnaissance to exploitation and reporting.
